Ward Based Caterer Temporary

Manpower are recruiting Ward Based Caterers.

You will be responsible for the provision of an effective, safe, hygienic, food service at ward level.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Providing menu choices and taking patient orders
• Food preparation of meals and serving the patients
• Offering tea and coffee to patients and visitors
• Completion of related paperwork
• Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained at all times

You will be a friendly, reliable, motivated and approachable individual. Additionally, you will need to have some previous food service experience within a catering environment. A Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2 would be desirable, however, we can provide an online course for you to complete.

You will be required to wear PPE at all time, uniform is also provided. Free parking is available with good public transport links.

This is a temporary position.

You will work 35 hours per week between the hours of 8 am and 7 pm, working 4 days out of 7.

The hourly rate is:

• Weekdays £8.92
• Saturdays and Nights (8 pm - 6 am) £12.58
• Sundays and Bank Holidays £16.32

The role is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.
