The role having access to a wealth of data, will produce, manage and maintain a Master Integrated Schedule. This includes working closely with Project Managers to develop accurate schedules and resource profiles, mapping project dependencies and highlighting challenges to the revelant stakeholders. As a part of a small team within a very large enterprise, the role requires a broad set of skills and a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.A key aspect of this role is monitoring IT performance in the project management domain. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with both Project Managers and other PMO colleauges to develop scheduled and ad hoc reports on IT performance against defined service levels.The job holder must not be constrained by a rigid job specification and be willing to pick up additional duties as necessary. They must be enthusiastic and “hands on” in their approach and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.  They must be comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels within the organizationResponsibilitiesProduce, manage and maintain a Master Integerated Schedule, providing input into capacity and budget managementSupport the project managers in delivering projects using the in-house project management tools following industry defined methodologiesManage your own time, prioritisation of workload and effective communication of appropriate issues and escalationsProvide practical advice, guidance and quality assurance across all projects within the programme, ensuring that the project management methodology is adhered tooSupport & facilitate resource meetings and relevant programme/project governance forumsRefine the in-house project management methodology as required to provide project managers with improved methodology and tools to support project deliveryOwn & facilitate regular IT governance forums, including Project Review Board, Investment Review Board, Risk Management and Change BoardsDocument and progress IT Risks, Issues and Action itemsExperience of configuring, monitoring, and reporting Earned Value (EVM) advantageousPropose, investigate and drive opportunities for process improvement within the IT organisation.ExperiencePrevious experience of working within a PMO, working to industry recognised methodologies such as PMI and PRINCE2Detailed knowledge and experience of developing and maintaining a Master Integrated ScheduleExperience in risk identification and assessmentExperience of Microsoft Project ServerHighly competent in using Microsoft Project Client & the Microsoft Office productsDemonstrable experience of working with staff upto board level, comfortable with conducting presentations and running meetingsITIL knowledge would be advantageousExposure to the Full project life Cycle - Waterfall & Agile MethodologiesDemonstrable attention to detail, thoroughness and commitment to quality/accountability of own outputImportant information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.
